What Is Stainless Steel 304L Forged Fittings?
The stainless steel 304L forged fittings are forged low carbon austenitic grade fittings of stainless steel. The versatile SS 304L forged fittings are robust components that play a pivotal role in changing, terminating, and joining piping equipment of dissimilar sizes and shapes. The robust 304L SS forged fittings have enhanced corrosion resistance properties due to their superior chemical composition. These fittings can be readily welded following standard welding procedures. Stainless steel 304L socket weld fittings are generally forged at temperatures between 800 to 1000 degrees C. These fittings can be readily heat-treated and normalized as per requirements. The ASTM A182 F304L forged fittings are forged at extreme pressures as they are stuck to precisely shape the fittings. These fittings can be either hot or cold rolled in different specifications. They can be hardened at temperatures between 750 to 950 degrees C. The stainless steel 304L threaded fittings are pressurized vessel grade that has outstanding surface porosity and a finer grain structure. These fittings have outstanding fatigue strength and performance.
