These ASTM A350 LF2 forged fittings can be threaded and welded in place. Low temperature carbon steel forged fittings possess a minimum tensile strength of 485mpa with a minimum yield strength of 250mpa. The ASTM A350 LF2 socket weld fittings are seen in small pipes for low pressures. In these fitting they have a recessed socket, allowing them to be welded using a single fillet weld.
