A Hastelloy C22 flanges is a device that is utilized in connecting pipes, valves, pumps, and other equipment to provide stability to the piping equipment. The Hastelloy C22 flanges are austenitic alloy grades that have a good content of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum with additions of tungsten alloy. The robust ASTM B564 UNS N06022 grade has a density of 8.69 g/cm3 and has enhanced resistance to corrosion and erosion. These components can be utilized in temperatures above 1000 degrees F.

Werkstoff Nr. 2.4602 Weld neck flanges can be recognized by their long neck that acts as a boring center. An N06022 Nickel Alloy LWN flange has a longer neck compared to a standard weld neck flange. These flange possess superior strength and are seen in harsh environments. The Hastelloy C22 Blind flanges, on the contrary, don’t possess any hub and are flat, allowing them to terminate the flow of media in the system. The Hastelloy C22 Socket Weld flanges are made up of a recessed socket wherein the pipe grade is inserted and welded using a singular fillet weld. These flange are common in small pipe equipment. DIN 2.4602 Screwed flanges possess threads that allow them to be wound to subsequent grades. These flange don’t require welding to hold them, thereby are seen in applications where stress is low.
