What Is Alloy 20 pipe fitting?
A pipe fitting helps in routing the pipe, changing its direction, connecting dissimilar equipment, and branching connections. The Alloy 20 Pipe Fittings are low carbon austenitic grade that is stabilized by niobium. The nickel, chromium, and molybdenum content gives these fittings enhanced resistance to reducing and corrosive media. ASTM B366 UNS N08020 Forged Fittings are produced at extreme temperatures and have enhanced surface porosity while exhibiting superior strength.
The Carpenter 20 Threaded Pipe Fittings have threads that allow them to connect easily with subsequent threads without requiring any welding procedure. Alloy 20cb3 Socket Weld Fittings are seen in small pipe diameters in sizes of NPS 2 or smaller and are welded using a single fillet weld.
The Alloy 20 Elbow is utilized to change the direction of the run pipe. These elbows are generally available in 22.5, 45, and 90-degree specifications. They are seen in a short or long radius of curvature. Alloy 20 Pipe Bends have a similar function to an elbow, but it has a larger radius than a pipe elbow. These bends reduce pressure drops as the material is routed across complex piping equipment. The UNS N08020 Tee is shaped in the form of a T. It has one inlet with two outlets arranged to the main line at 90 degrees. They can be availed in equal and reducing sizes.

A DIN 2.4660 Reducer is primarily used to connect piping equipment of dissimilar sizes. They are available in concentric and eccentric type configurations. The Cn7m Alloy 20 End Cap is an adapter that helps cut the flow at the ends in the system. They are usually threaded and protect the pipe against damage and corrosive media.
