What Is Copper Fittings?
Copper pipe fittings are used to connect piping grades of different sizes, allowing them to influence the characteristics of the flow in the system. The copper fittings have a higher content of carbon than other constituents. These fittings have good strength and have enhanced corrosion resistance properties.
The copper threaded fittings have threads that are screwed and can be easily connected to subsequent piping grades having threads. These fittings are easy to assemble without requiring any welding operation. These fittings are generally seen in low-pressure and temperature setups. Copper compression fittings are lock-bush fittings that possess a tapered, conical seat that is fastened by a hollow barrel-shaped ring-type compression that is fastened with a nut.

The copper elbow is installed between two lengths of a piping grade. These fittings help change the direction of fluid and gaseous media. They are generally available in 45 and 90-degree types. Copper 90 degree elbow is one of the common types of elbows that allow for a smooth flow of media. These elbows are divided into long or short radius configurations based on their radius of curvature.

The Copper coupling is utilized in connecting pipes of the same diameters. These couplings are designated in regular and slip coupling. Copper coupling can tolerate slight misalignment and can tolerate shocks and vibrations.

The Copper tee is produced in the shape of a T and can combine or divide the flow of media. These tees are specified in equal and unequal sizes across the three channels. Copper Tee Fitting can transport two-fluid mixtures at an angle of 90 degrees while the main connection line supplies the media. These fittings are available in different sizes as per requirements.
A Copper U bend allows for a 180-degree return of media. This bend allows for creating a barrier against any foul smell in the oil and gas industries. The Copper end cap helps in cutting the flow in the ends of the pipeline. These caps help in protecting the grade against damage or corrosive affluents when it is transported or stored.
