What Is A234 WP12 Material?
A234 WP12 Piping fittings connect pipes, tubes, valves, and other equipment and help in characterizing the flow of media in the system. The A234 WP12 material help in routing, changing the direction, and branching pipes of different sizes. These fittings are designed in seamless and welded configurations.
The ASTM A234 WP12 fittings is produced with a chemical composition of carbon, manganese, silicon, sulfur, phosphorous, chromium, and molybdenum. It allows them to work well in high pressures and temperatures and showcase excellent corrosion resistance properties. The WP12 fittings have a tensile strength between 415 and 585 MPa with a minimum yield strength of 205 MPa. These fittings can be easily elongated by 20% in the system.
ASTM A234 Grade WP12 buttweld fittings are one of the common fittings in the oil and gas industry. These fittings possess superior strength and have excellent toughness. They can be readily welded and ensure leakage-proof sealing.

A234 WP12 long radius bend is seen in the transportation of fluid that requires piggins. These bends have very low pressure drop and allow for a smooth flow of media. They are designed in 3D and 5D configurations.
The A234 Gr WP12 Elbow is a versatile grade that is utilized to change the direction of the flow of fluids and gases. These elbows allow for easy movement of the flow and are seen in long and short radius specifications.
The ASTM A234 Gr WP12 Reducer is utilized to connect piping components of dissimilar diameters. The reducer makes a gradual change in the diameter of the piping grade.
